Community positions are service roles. They exist to welcome members, protect the atmosphere and build the systems that let After Hours Gaming grow without losing what makes it friendly.
POSITIONS // COMMUNITY OPERATIONS
LEADERSHIP HERE MEANS BEING USEFUL.
These are trusted volunteer positions—not status symbols. The right people make members feel heard, solve problems without creating more of them and leave the community healthier than they found it.

Improve onboarding and self-assigned game roles
Support events, announcements and community projects
Document systems so AHG can grow reliably
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION PATH
INTEREST → CONVERSATION → TRIAL.
A private, Discord-based process keeps applications connected to the community and avoids collecting unnecessary personal information.
01
BE PART OF AHG
Spend enough time in the community for members and staff to know how you communicate and treat people.
02
OPEN A PRIVATE INTEREST TICKET
Choose the position and answer a short set of role-specific questions visible only to the review team.
03
HAVE A RELAXED STAFF CONVERSATION
Talk through expectations, availability, judgment and what you want to contribute. This is not a corporate interview.
04
START A 30-DAY TRIAL
Receive limited permissions, a clear mentor and a written checklist before any permanent access is granted.
05
REVIEW TOGETHER
Confirm the role is healthy for the volunteer and useful to the community, then grant the full role or step back without embarrassment.
